- Communicate and interact with a variety of individuals, including insureds and claimants.
- Explain benefits, coverages, fault, and claims process in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Conduct phone investigations to determine liability and damages.
- Identify and obtain statements from insureds and claimants to resolve first and third-party claims and witnesses.
- Negotiate within settlement authority with insureds and claimants to resolve first and third-party claims.
- Verify and interpret/resolve coverages by gathering necessary information to ensure policy applicability.
- Coordinate with internal and external departments as required.

Successful candidates have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's (4-year) degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-5 years prior claims experience is required.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
