Job Summary

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Concord is seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Support Professional to join their team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and support.

About the Role

This position involves working in our Intensive Care Nursery, caring for acutely ill and premature infants. As a Critical Care Support Professional, you will be responsible for performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary for the personal needs and comfort of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine patient care activities under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, including ADLs, obtaining clinical data, utilizing universal precautions, collecting specimens or performing point-of-care testing, and recording results in medical records.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping hallways clear of excess equipment, emptying linen bags when full, and assisting visitors and answering telephones.
  • Support new co-workers in learning the work of the department and perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate keyboarding skills and be familiar with computer use.
  • Previous hospital experience is preferred.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
