About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Instructional Leader to join our team at Franklin County Schools. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Job Summary

The Instructional Leader is responsible for overseeing the instructional programs and services of the school. This includes developing and implementing curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing support to teachers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state and national standards. Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure that curriculum is effective and meets the needs of all students.
  • Teacher Support: Provide guidance and support to teachers to enhance their instructional practices and improve student outcomes. Conduct regular observations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Student Assessment: Develop and implement assessment tools to measure student progress and inform instruction. Analyze data to identify areas of strength and weakness and make recommendations for improvement.
  • School Improvement: Collaborate with the school administration and staff to develop and implement school improvement plans. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in education, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
