Chief Sustainability Officer, Downtown Los Angeles Events

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Sustainability Officer to join our team at SearchWide Global in Downtown Los Angeles. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving environmental sustainability and social responsibility initiatives across our operations.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability, human resources, ESG, or corporate social responsibility, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability programs. You will work closely with our leadership team to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve our sustainability goals.
This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive zero waste plans for events and operations
- Promote sustainability education and engagement among clients, staff, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainability into event planning and operations
- Analyze data to track and report on key sustainability metrics
- Budgeting and resource allocation for sustainability initiatives
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability, HR, ESG, or CSR
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability programs
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
$85,000 - $110,000 per year
