We are seeking a highly skilled Physiatry/Physical Medicine Specialist to join our team at BAS Healthcare. This is a PRN opportunity with no call or weekend requirements.

Company Overview: BAS Healthcare provides medical disability examination and evaluation services to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specializing in interview-based exams with physical assessments for General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury cases.

Job Description: As a Physiatry/Physical Medicine Specialist, you will conduct exams that involve range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluating traumatic brain injury. You will also assess respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions using METs testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&R
  • Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions
  • Proficiency in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
  • Owning a personal laptop (Windows-based)
  • Training provided for Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
