Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at HCA Florida Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized patient care plans. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a Medical Surgical unit.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
