Job Title: Environmental EngineerJob Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team at iSi Environmental. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and providing technical support and oversight for various environmental projects, specializing in environmental engineering and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage environmental compliance projects for clients with multiple environmental requirements, including Clean Air Act MACT Standards, 40 CFR Part 63, Subpart JJJJJJ Boiler MACT Standards, and 40 CFR Part 60, Subpart OOOO NSPS for Oil and Gas Regulatory Compliance.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of environmental regulations, particularly those affecting oil and gas facilities, and conduct environmental compliance audits and assessments.
  • Conduct sampling, review, and prepare documentation, including Chain of Custody forms and shipping forms.
  • Ensure quality of sampling and laboratory data, and conduct training for various environmental topics.
  • Develop knowledge of client facilities and operations, and provide customer service to client representatives and local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Perform project management-related tasks, such as planning, budgeting, and invoicing, and write reports, letters, and other project documents.
  • Participate in preparing proposals, contact and contract with various subcontractors, and maintain/sustain working relationships with federal, state, and local regulatory agency personnel.
  • Assist with other environmental, health, and safety projects, and supervise 1-4 technicians on projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical or environmental engineering, or related field, and experience in environmental engineering/regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, state and federal environmental regulations, and chemistry and analytical knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a team, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong computer skills, particularly utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record, and PE, EIT, CHMM, or other professional certification preferred.
