Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as an Assembler. In this role, you will be responsible for performing fitting, inspection/repair, and assembly/dis-assembly operations on turbine rotors and related parts.

About the Role

  • You will engage in activities such as blend/detailing, blast and part preparation, blading, and assembly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precision work with industrial-mechanical equipment.
  • Use precision measuring equipment and basic shop math for stack up calculations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work scope instructions.
  • Obtain a Crane License and fork truck license.
  • Lift up to 50lbs.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience with industrial-mechanical equipment.
  • Proven ability to use precision measuring equipment.
  • Experience with basic shop math for stack up calculations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and execute work scope instructions.
  • Ability to obtain a Crane License and fork truck license.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $18.00 and $21.00 per hour. Our benefit offerings provide employees with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
