Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team in Dayton, Ohio.

Job Summary:

This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, preparing radiopharmaceutical agents and administering them to patients for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Preparation: Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
  • Scanner Operation: Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera to capture high-quality images.
  • Procedure Performance: Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
  • Assistance: Provide assistance to patients during procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Maintenance: Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT.
  • Licenses: State-specific licensing when required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
