Seeking a highly skilled Confidential Information Security Specialist to provide Unauthorized Disclosure support services to DCSA.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of DoD information security policy and experience in the identification, triage, and response to mishandling of classified information incidents.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with organizations to accomplish case management of unauthorized disclosures in accordance with DoD policy, intelligence community directives, and/or Security Executive Agent Directives (SEAD). You will also coordinate the accomplishment of original classification authority (OCA) reviews, ensure complete and accurate damage/impact assessments, and ensure complete and accurate preliminary inquiries.

In this role, you will assist in the development and staffing of UD packages for final referral to criminal, civil, and/or administrative authorities and follow through to completion of all actions. You will also review insider threat hub unauthorized disclosure cases providing expert advice/guidance on whether the reported incident is an actual UD or data spill or mishandling.

You will be responsible for managing and developing new metrics, and conducting analysis on all UD metrics. Additionally, you will build products, summaries, case studies, and trend products and communicate these ideas and products orally and in writing, including talking points for senior leadership engagements.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) combined years of experience in the following areas: information security discipline within the DoD, the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, and/or similar Government function or private industry; adhering to application information security guidance for the identification, triage, and response to mishandling of classified information incidents; independently writing clear, succinct, and grammatically correct documents requiring minimal edits; communicating verbally in a logical, coherent manner with senior level DoD executives; and proficiency in the use of computers and associated software, including Microsoft Office.

The successful candidate will also have a minimum of three (3) combined years of experience in the following areas: knowledge of the Department of Defense or equivalent Agency security functions to include insider threat, operations security, personnel security, physical security, industrial security, technology protection, and prepublication review; DoD security policy, intelligence community directives, and/or Security Executive Agent Directive artifacts, and capable of making information security recommendations relevant to unauthorized disclosure and speak to those positions at various forums; developing metrics from data points and through analysis developed courses of action and produced word or power point analytical products tying the analysis into a single product requiring minimal edits; and understanding of the DoD components through work experience directly supporting the DoD components.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.
