Job Description:

The Operating Room Radiologic Technologist Lead will be responsible for performing a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. The technologist will provide support for other imaging technologists as needed and may be assigned to work in a variety of locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic procedures, some of a more complex nature, utilizing proper technique and giving appropriate procedural instructions to the patient.Evaluate patient for clinical contrast history and possible contra-indications.Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers by coordinating and prioritizing procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.Rotate within departments and clinics for proper coverage.Assist Radiologist or other medical professional in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures using equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A Graduate degree in Radiology Technology or equivalent.1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.Current state licensure required.Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.

Work Schedule: PRN, Per Diem As Needed.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience and location.
