Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our hospital's clinical programs.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based treatments to patients with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, and engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing and healthcare.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to new staff members, students, and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the growth and development of our hospital's clinical programs.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a relevant specialty.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to patients with complex medical conditions. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-based environment, communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
