Job Opportunity

The Department of Dermatology at the University of Virginia is seeking a part-time, tenure-ineligible Assistant or Associate Professor to work primarily in our outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching, clinical excellence, and academic scholarship.

  • Participation in scholarly activities
About the Department

The University of Virginia Department of Dermatology, founded in 1924, is the oldest dermatology department in the South. Our mission is to enrich the quality of human life by improving health, producing excellent and compassionate care for our patients, advancing the field of dermatology, and creating an environment for professional preparation of individuals dedicated to healthcare service in dermatology.

Requirements
  • MD degree
  • ABMS board-certified or board-eligible in dermatology
  • Dually board-certified or board-eligible in dermatopathology encouraged to apply
  • Eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
