Estimated Salary Range

$83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

Job Description

As a Telecom Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with tax regulations across various jurisdictions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and processing indirect tax returns, sales, use, and gross receipts tax payments, as well as business license applications and renewals.
  • Developing, improving, and streamlining processes and procedures for indirect tax return compliance.
  • Analyzing general ledger, reconciliations, and tax reports to ensure accurate reporting of tax and data integrity.
  • Monitoring the sales tax system to guarantee correct rates and tax rules are applied.
  • Responding to correspondence and inquiries from tax authorities and resolving outstanding issues.
  • Managing, supporting, and developing tax staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of indirect tax experience, preferably in the telecom industry.
  • 2+ years of management experience, preferably in tax or finance.
