Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Inpatient Neurology team at UAB Health System. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing with an Acute Care NP certification or a graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Key Responsibilities:
The APP will rotate between UAB Main and UAB Highlands on the Neurology inpatient services, responding to neurological consults and acting as the primary provider for patients with neurologic disorders. The APP will be responsible for communicating information to patients and their families, as well as working with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, tools, and programs, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The APP will be expected to maintain patient confidentiality and work independently as part of a team.
