About the Job

At Swedish Health Services, we're seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at our Edmonds campus.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our fast-paced Emergency Department. As a Registered Nurse, you'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and effective care delivery.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and National Provider BLS certification.
  • 1 year of acute care experience, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) and NIH Stroke Scale Certificate required within 6 months of hire.
