Job Title: Adjunct Justice Instructor

At Yuba Community College District, we are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Justice Instructor to join our team. As an adjunct instructor, you will be responsible for teaching law enforcement and corrections courses to students at our community college.

About the Position:

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for justice education and a strong background in administration of justice. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching or working in a related field and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

This position requires the ability to provide instruction in law enforcement and corrections associate and certificate programs. You will also be responsible for preparing complete course syllabi and outlines, adapting instructional techniques to accommodate varied learning styles and abilities, and participating in district committees to improve the instructional program.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must possess the minimum qualifications for instructors in Administration of Justice at California Community Colleges. This includes having any associate degree and six years of full-time occupational experience in the related field or any bachelor's degree and two years of full-time occupational experience in the related field. Alternatively, the candidate can possess a California Community life credential in the subject matter area.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on education and experience.

Work Environment: The work environment is in a college setting, which may include teaching day, evening, and weekend assignments.
