**Job Overview**

Cognizant seeks a highly skilled ESG Strategy Consultant to join our rapidly growing Sustainability Practice. This role involves leveraging digital technologies to enhance ESG programs for Fortune 500 companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client-facing conversations around digital technology solutions, including ESG software solutions, data management strategies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as the domain expert for ESG software solutions to Fortune 500 ESG leaders as part of Cognizant's digital transformation projects.
  • Encourage forward-thinking solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business buy-in.
  • Support internal business development and sales teams in formulating value propositions around ESG software solutions and data management.
  • Develop key partnerships with ESG software solution providers to enhance Cognizant's partnerships and solution offerings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with ESG software solutions, especially Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.
  • Understanding of industry-leading ESG software solutions, including IBM Envizi, Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability, Sphera, etc.
  • Experience with systems architecture, designing scalable performance-driven solutions, and integrating Salesforce with different business systems.
  • Proven success engaging with clients and development teams to identify opportunities for digital technology to help clients achieve their sustainability goals.
  • Client-focused, detail-oriented, organized, and independent thinker with exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of the GHG Protocol and carbon emissions reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD).
  • Over 5 years of professional experience working in the sustainability technology sector, with active Salesforce certifications and a BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer science, environmental engineering, or other related fields.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
