Organizational Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Organizational Development Practitioner 3 to join our team at Garmin. This role is responsible for providing professional development guidance to leaders and management by conducting talent reviews, creating development plans, and evaluating progress of high-performers and high-potentials.
Key Responsibilities- Support Business Leaders: Provide support to business leaders in planning and executing organization-wide talent reviews and succession development.
- Coach and Mentor: Coach business leaders and associates using the GROW model and various tools, such as 360 feedback and Disc assessments.
- Analysis and Partnership: Analyze data from talent reviews and partner with the Leadership and Professional Development team to create and evaluate programming based on needs.
- Training and Implementation: Collaborate with HR Generalist team and HR leadership to train, implement, and measure engagement survey outcomes.
- Resource and Support: Act as a resource for business leaders to identify and implement appropriate intervention methods, such as coaching, teambuilding, change management, assessments, and more.
- Career Development: Evaluate career paths and work with leaders to develop behavioral and technical competencies for career development, promotions, and succession planning.
- Communication and Collaboration: Provide professional development team, HR Generalists, and leaders with clear action items and next steps once talent reviews have been completed.
- Customer Service: Provide an excellent customer service experience to associates and business partners.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree in HR or related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Skills and Qualifications: Demonstrated understanding of HR best practices, structure, and HR business functions; proven strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; displayed commitment and passion for developing teams and individuals; demonstrated capacity to mentor or train others; highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively with minimal supervision.
- Masters in OD: Master's degree in Organizational Development.
- PHR or SPHR Certification: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
- Coaching Certifications: Coaching certifications, such as 360 feedback or personality assessment certifications.
