Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Installation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and educating customers on the proper use of respiratory and home medical equipment in a home setting. This is a critical position that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and set up home medical equipment for customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of our products, including respiratory equipment and other devices.
  • Conduct routine visits to customers' homes to maintain home oxygen systems and perform any necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, including completing required documentation and communicating with customers as needed.
  • Promote our services and products to referral sources in the community, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain knowledge of current HME products and services offered by AdaptHealth, as well as applicable governmental regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as sales, customer service, or healthcare technology.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information.
Compensation Package:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, AdaptHealth offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
