Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital. As a Telemetry Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to alarms, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTI, QTc, ST segment, and waveform alterations.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
  • Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms, and artifact, and maintain EKG monitor alarms as needed.
  • Complete EKG interpretations, including rhythm interpretation, and ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
