Yoakum Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated and passionate ICU nurse to join our team on a PRN day basis. As an ICU nurse in our department, you will deliver safe and effective clinical care to our patients under the direction of the Department Director and Chief Clinical Officer.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will develop administrative skills aimed at ensuring safe patient care, effective communication, and activities that enhance unit efficiency. You will support and contribute to our Quality Assurance Program, demonstrating your commitment to providing high-quality care.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS for the ICU Nurse position at Yoakum Community Hospital:

  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
  • Currently licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as a registered nurse
  • CPR, ACLS & PALS certifications required
  • Minimum one year of experience in ICU
