Key Responsibilities- Security Oversight: Monitor facility premises to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and property.
- Conduct Regular Patrols: Patrol units and common areas, maintaining a visible presence and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
- Staff Support: Assist nursing supervisors and BHA 4 in nightly operations and patient care, collaborating with the nursing team to address patient needs and staff requirements.
- Supply Management: Replenish units with necessary supplies, including medical and personal items, and manage inventory of supply rooms.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with nursing supervisors and BHA 4 regarding patient observations and any security concerns, documenting incidents and reporting findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in security or healthcare preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and basic understanding of psychiatric patient care and safety protocols.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, and lift and carry supplies as needed.
Overnight shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, with the possibility of working weekends and holidays.
