Description

The JF Petroleum Group is a leading provider of comprehensive turn-key solutions for the North American fueling infrastructure industry. We serve a diverse clientele, including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers.

The Construction Assistant performs a variety of tasks that require physical labor on construction sites. The role involves assisting construction craft workers and electricians, carrying tools and materials, and setting up equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct heavy equipment operators during excavation operations.
  • Operate small equipment, such as skid steer loaders.
  • Cut and thread steel pipe, and assist in the fitting and installation of underground and above-ground tanks.
  • Assist the foreman with shooting grades and documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
  • Ensure all signs and safety barricades are in place.
  • Comply with all safety requirements, including the use of proper personal protective equipment.
  • Account for and organize tools on the truck or job trailer.
  • Keep the job inventory accurate.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Basic understanding of taking measurements, math, and mechanical skills.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to meet company employment requirements, including passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR.
