Job Summary

At Youth Opportunity Investments, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Master Control Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling facility access, ensuring the safety and security of our youth and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control facility access, including entrance and exit of visitors and staff.
  • Authorize and document youth movement, including off-site trips and appointments.
  • Monitor video systems and complete perimeter checks at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Communicate emergencies to the appropriate staff and notify supervisors of receipt of paperwork and court orders.
  • Log all staff entering and leaving the facility and monitor fire and security alarms.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year experience working with at-risk youth or in a monitoring/control role in an institutional setting.
  • Ability to think and act independently, with advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be in good physical health and emotionally stable, with the ability to move about the property and participate in youth activities.
