Medical Surgical Nurse for Weekend Days in Nashville

We are seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on patient care and help advance the practice of nursing.

Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) provides and coordinates care for patients with various medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized plans of care, administer medications, and provide education to patients and their families.
Responsibilities- You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
- You will promote customer service initiatives and utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet the needs of patients.
- You will document all patient care and maintain equipment properly.
- RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
- Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- BLS required, and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer.
- No Travel Required.
