Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to join our team at State Farm Insurance. As a key member of our litigation department, you will be responsible for handling complex cases in Wisconsin circuit courts, focusing on civil litigation and automobile insurance.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle cases in Wisconsin circuit courts, focusing on civil litigation and automobile insurance
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including claims professionals and underwriters, to ensure seamless case management
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential issues and develop sound legal arguments
- Prepare and present court documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures
- Work efficiently with cases in electronic form, utilizing advanced software and technology
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel to resolve issues and achieve goals
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- At least ten years of law practice experience or passage of a Bar Exam
- Active license to practice law in Wisconsin with eligibility to become licensed in Minnesota
- Expertise in the Wisconsin Rules of Civil Procedure, Evidence, and local court rules
- Prior experience in insurance defense litigation and/or criminal jury trial defense is preferred
