As a Clinical Health Care Specialist, you will work closely with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care and services.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a Licensed Practical Nurse 3 with the State of Tennessee or holds a privilege to practice in the State of Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and other emergency responses.
  • Provide health care support as directed by the immediate supervisor.
  • Follow a prescribed health care plan or protocol.
  • Take the patient's vital signs.
  • Identify patient's allergies.
  • Administer medication.
  • Monitor side effects of medication.
  • Observe the effectiveness of medications.
  • Feed the patient. Bathe the patient.
  • Prepare the patient for laboratory tests.
  • Obtain required lab specimens per protocol.
  • Prepare specimens for transport to an outside laboratory.
  • Perform other procedures per protocol.
  • Provide consultation and advice to others: educate patients/caregivers on how to maintain optimal health status.
  • Demonstrate self-care such as dressing changes, self-examinations, activities of daily living (e.g., hygiene), and use of adaptive equipment/devices.
  • Ensure the patient understands self-care instructions.
