Job Summary:

Region V Services seeks a qualified Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work directly with individuals with disabilities to provide comprehensive training and support. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing customized training programs, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective service delivery.

About the Role:

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $28,000 - $38,000 per year, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. If you are passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and have a commitment to providing high-quality care, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver systematic training and supports tailored to individual needs and desired outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and data collection.
  • Participate in team meetings to ensure collective understanding and application of individualized plans.
  • Assist individuals in achieving personal growth and increasing their image within the community.
  • Collaborate with consultants, supervisors, and other staff members to achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience in human services or a related field is preferred.
  • Able to utilize lifting or adaptive equipment when available.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
