Marriott Director of Sales

A strategic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to drive revenue growth in the hospitality industry. We seek an accomplished Director of Sales to join our team at AC Hotel Seattle Downtown.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize occupancy and achieve average daily rate (ADR) goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales tactics and optimize revenue streams.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes professional growth and goal achievement.
  • Build and sustain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and local businesses through effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborate with hotel operations teams to ensure seamless execution of guest services and events in alignment with Marriott's standards of hospitality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience within the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with Marriott systems such as FOSSE and Salesforce.
  • Strong knowledge of Marriott's sales and marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
