Job Title: Cloud Security Architect Position: Lead Cloud Defender

Estimated Salary: $77,500 - $82,000 per annum (based on a 06+months contract with a salary range of $75 - $80/hour)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. as a Lead Cloud Defender. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud security solutions that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' data.

About the Role:

  • You will provide cloud security architectural development and assist with the automation of security for Cloud PoC environments (AWS and Azure).
  • Contribute subject matter expertise advice in the areas of Cloud Security (End-point, application, network) with a focus towards automation of cloud security.
  • Familiarity with CNAPP (Cloud native application protection platform) solutions and MDR (Managed Detection and Response) solutions is essential.
  • Experience working with SSE (Security Service Edge) and Zscaler is required.
  • You will advise project teams during system development to ensure compliance with security policies, guidelines, standards, controls, and governance.
  • Contribute to the cloud security strategy, vision, requirements, and solutions for DevX.
  • Design, develop, and implement new cloud security technologies as necessary to support Technology Research and Innovation team.
  • Consult with application development teams to determine cloud security requirements and for planning and delivering automated cloud-based business solutions.
  • Define, publish, and maintain processes for security governance (i.e., compliance to principles, guidelines, and standards).
  • Conduct technical research when necessary to contribute to setting cloud security direction and strategy.
  • Assist others on the team on cloud security projects or security-relevant tasks on technical projects.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in cloud security architecture, development, designs, integration.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or related experience preferred.
  • Experience working with CNAPP and Zscaler.
  • Possesses and maintains deep knowledge and experience of cloud computing infrastructure, agile development, application development methodologies, best practices, and available and emergent services in several cloud provider environments including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Maintains current knowledge of cloud security technologies and architecture marketplace.
  • Advanced analytical and technical skills – both breadth and depth.
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent collaborative skills.
