Ride Mechanic - Seasonal Opportunity

At Frontier City, we are seeking a skilled Ride Mechanic to join our team on a seasonal basis. As a Ride Mechanic, you will assist full-time ride mechanics with their assigned tasks, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rides.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist full-time ride mechanics with ride maintenance and repairs
  • Lubricate and grease rides and equipment
  • Perform parts cleaning, vehicle cleaning, and equipment cleaning
  • Successfully climb ride structures and ladders
  • Assist with minor ride inspections
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Adhere to park attendance policy
  • Follow and complete delegated tasks
  • Adhere to Six Flags Standards of Appearance

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of machinery components
  • Valid State Driver's License and High School Diploma or GED
  • Personal tool box with hand tools
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to perform physical activities, such as climbing, crawling, and lifting
  • Demonstrable communication skills in English
  • Vocational or technical training in mechanical trades preferred
  • Strong work ethic and focus on safety
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must pass background check, drug test, and POET
