About the Role

Abbott Laboratories, a leading global healthcare company, is seeking a highly skilled Group Leader to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct the daily work assignments of housekeeping personnel, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate personnel and logistics activities to meet business needs.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure facilities are clean and well-maintained, adhering to cGMP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the utilization of supplies, equipment, and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct training and instruction on safety procedures and equipment usage, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to approved procedures and protocols, making adjustments as needed to maintain compliance.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental cleaning or a related field, with a focus on planning, organizing, and coordinating job activities.
  • Proven ability to read and comprehend written information, including corporate quality documents, safety guidelines, and operating procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with computer systems and software, including compliance/technical training and documentation.
  • Ability to operate a computer to complete required tasks, including downloading daily work instructions and documenting work performed.
  • Initial training course completion provided by LC Housekeeping prior to working in regulated environments.
