Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

About the Role
The Caregiver Specialist is responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, attending to individual care needs, and getting to know each resident's unique preferences and personalities. You will work closely with our care team to develop and implement Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) that cater to the specific needs of each resident. Your duties may include:
- Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families
- Notifying management of changes in condition and recommending adjustments in care and service
- Assisting residents with life skills and other life-enriching activities
- Participating in the development of ISPs and monthly updates
- Collaborating with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies
- Responding to dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards
- Inviting, encouraging, and assisting residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on ISP and demographic profile

Requirements
To be successful as a Caregiver Specialist, you must have:
- A passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills
- A positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and the ability to work in a team environment
- High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations
- In states where applicable, must maintain certifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred
- Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Benefits
Sunrise Senior Living offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on geographic location, skills, experience, qualifications, and certifications/licenses (where applicable). We also provide benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans, retirement savings plans, employee assistant program/discount program, paid time off (PTO), sick time, and holiday pay. Additionally, we offer daily pay, tuition reimbursement, and discretionary bonuses. Some benefits have eligibility requirements.
