About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Health Services.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in nursing, with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients with terminal illnesses. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to their families
  • Evaluating patient needs and assisting in the preparation and execution of individualized plans of care
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participating in quality assessment and performance improvement programs to drive continuous excellence
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A valid RN license in the state of employment (or eligibility to obtain)
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
