Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safety:
  • Support and conduct safety observations to identify hazards and implement improvements to enhance our work environment.
  • Ensure team members complete daily tasks in accordance with safety policies and regulations.
  • Lead required safety training with direct reports.
Quality:
  • Manage team member performance to quality standards per service level agreements.
  • Track performance to KPIs.
  • Ensure Fulfillment quality meets expectations by inspecting units across the Fulfillment lines and conversion stations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to "Zero Defects" or "Make No Defect", leading the Fulfillment Team by example.
Productivity:
  • Manage team member performance to productivity standards per NetSuite standards and labor rates.
  • Track performance to KPIs.
  • Ensure orders are processed in accordance with company SOPs and customer service standards.
  • Review and identify trends to target areas for improvement that allow for measurable performance improvements in Orders Per Hour performance.
  • Develop streamlined processes to enable team members to complete tasks in less time, enabling them to take on additional tasks.
Leadership & Development:
  • Conduct developmental 1 on 1s to identify key areas for direct reports to enhance their skills.
  • Support LEAN, Safety, or Quality training planned for the Fulfillment Team.
  • Develop and maintain a training matrix to ensure team members continually cross-train to be prepared for peak-level volumes.
  • Support efforts to cultivate a work environment that aids in the attraction and retention of talent, ensuring Wondercide's current and future success.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Complete improvement projects that produce measurable results.
  • Develop relationships with direct reports by demonstrating a willingness to listen and support improvement projects based on team member feedback.
  • Participate directly or provide opportunities to team members to participate in KAIZEN events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience leading a team of 5 or more in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage performance in all areas of Operational Excellence (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Leadership & Development, and Continuous Improvement).
  • Experience with managing performance to labor plans, standard rates, and KPIs.
  • Directly responsible for performance management, issuing progressive discipline, and supporting people development.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce results using project management and LEAN methodology.
  • Demonstrated strengths in critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Previous experience with NetSuite, ShipStation, or similar Fulfillment and inventory software.
  • Verifiable experience in Inventory Management, Quality Control, or Fulfillment Planning.
  • Experience in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and similar equipment.
  • Ability to facilitate training or continuous improvement events, in accordance with the structured approach of KAIZEN.

Location: This position is based onsite in Round Rock, Texas.
