About Your Role

As a Tax Manager, you will serve as Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, billing, and collections. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules, and monitoring project status against the plan
  • Maintaining professional relationships with clients through excellent customer service, quality work products, and integrity
  • Serving as the primary point-of-contact for clients, ensuring they receive timely updates on engagement progress and logistics
  • Gaining the respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management and clear communication
  • Preparing accurate bills for professional services rendered
Your Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A BS/BA in accounting degree and CPA certification
  • Minimum 5+ years of tax & accounting experience in public accounting
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, along with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as audit software like ProSystems or GoSystems
  • Solid organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively
