Forestry Management Professional

ACRT is seeking a skilled Forestry Management Professional to lead our tree clearance crew activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in forestry, horticulture, or related disciplines and experience in utility vegetation management.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform identification, inspection, and evaluation of trees and brush along utility lines.
- Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations for effective line-clearance operations.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of assigned tree clearance crews to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues with clients and stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and customer services to facilitate smooth communication and problem resolution.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of experience in Utility Vegetation Management.
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, organized, and production-oriented work style.
- Ability to work independently and manage geographical areas for all vegetation-related activities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
- Multitasking and strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules.
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Utility Vegetation Management.
- Experience working with GIS-integrated data collection software/hardware.
- ISA Arborist certification, ISA Utility Specialist certification, TRAQ certification, or state pesticide license.
We offer a competitive salary range of $21,000 - $25,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
