We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the UW Medical Center-Montlake's Men's Health Clinic. Our clinic provides specialized care for men's health issues, including urologic, hormonal, and reproductive health concerns.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys procedural care and is interested in working with patients in an outpatient setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing discreet and professional care to patients, performing intake procedures, assisting providers during minimally invasive procedures, and partnering with providers during the pre-op and post-op process.
Job Responsibilities- Provide specialty nursing services in an outpatient setting
- Perform intake of cancer patients interested in cryopreservation
- Assist providers during minimally invasive procedures
- Partner with providers during the pre-op and post-op process
- Perform general clinic functions, including phone triage, patient education, and case management
- 6 months of recent medical-surgical or ambulatory nursing experience; or equivalent nursing experience on an inpatient hospital floor
- Previous experience performing minimally invasive procedures
- Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
