Job Overview

First Children Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing ABA therapeutic support to children, promoting healthy communication, social, and behavioral skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work 1:1 with clients in independent and group classroom settings
  • Support the development of healthy communication, social, and behavioral skills
  • Provide ABA therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive treatment outcomes
  • Read and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner
Requirements
  • BA degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Education required
  • 1 year minimum of working with children preferred
  • 1 year of working in a direct care human services profession preferred
  • Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
  • Willingness to accept and implement practical feedback
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and run during shift
