Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Cash America Pawn. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales and loans, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets and interacts with all customers to develop a rapport and provide personalized financial solutions.
  • Performs non-management open/close procedures, including cash handling and inventory management.
  • Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and well-maintained, with a focus on displaying merchandise in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Answers incoming calls and communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
  • Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
Requirements
  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
  • Minimum Age: 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
  • Cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
  • Computer literate and able to operate Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems and common office machines.
Commission Plan Information

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Applicants are provided with more details regarding the commission incentive plan during the interview process.
