Job Overview

In Tacoma, WA, our truck shop specializes in fleet repairs, maintenance, and light fabrication for 20 trucks and 50+ trailers. We welcome the public for repairs as well.

Salary Information

We offer competitive pay ($75,000 - $90,000 per year) based on experience, plus benefits including medical & vision, 401K matching, and vacation time.

Job Responsibilities

This position requires a skilled diesel mechanic to perform diagnostics and repair on various diesel trucks and trailers, adhering to DOT regulations. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of DOT-qualified experience and possess proficiency in Cummins Insite, Detroit DD15, and Cat systems. Additionally, expertise in welding, electronics, A/C, hydraulics, and air systems is a plus.

Key Qualifications
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, brakes, wheel ends, suspensions, steering systems, power trains, and more.
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge and understanding of related equipment.
  • Ability to utilize tools such as diesel and computer diagnostic tools.
