Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Bilingual Certified Teacher to join our team. As a member of our educational staff, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality instruction, academic support, and enrichment activities to our students.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide instruction in mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies to students in a multi-grade setting.
  2. Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and assessments to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  3. Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure seamless coordination and support.
  4. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
  5. Collaborate with the Assistant Program Director and US Educational Administrator consultant to ensure educational goals are met.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. Valid teaching certification in Texas, with experience in a multi-grade setting.
  3. Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certification or equivalent.
  4. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Fully immunized/vaccinated (or have a medical/religious exemption) for Varicella, MMR, TdAp, and Influenza.
  7. Age 21 or older.
  8. Valid Texas Driver's License.
  9. Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and perform Safe and Positive Approaches.
