Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Systems Technician to join our team at Reser's Fine Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and examining ammonia refrigeration systems, as well as performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure system efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on ammonia refrigeration systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, using troubleshooting techniques and technical documentation to identify and resolve issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of system components, identifying potential problems and taking corrective action to prevent system failures.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless operation of all systems.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
  • Ammonia Operator I certification and at least 1 year of experience in refrigeration system maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and navigate confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

The Refrigeration Systems Technician will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to cold temperatures, loud noises, and hazardous materials. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
