Clinical Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive clinical orientation program for assigned staff, aligning with the goals of Nursing Patient Care Operations, CEI, and Professional Development Council.
- Maintain and enhance clinical competence of assigned staff by collaborating with leadership, local committees, and clinical staff to set clear expectations for educational activities and competency maintenance.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development services to assigned staff, promoting their growth and development.
- Collaborate with professional development specialists, leadership, and clinical staff to design and implement ongoing professional development programs, including in-service, mandatory, and continuing education for assigned staff.
- Develop and participate in mutually beneficial intra- and inter-professional partnerships to work jointly on common goals that align with the needs of the assigned practice setting.
- Assist with and participate in the development of evidence-based practice and dissemination of results of clinical inquiry activities, aligning with Nursing Patient Care Operations strategic goals, mission, and vision.
- A license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
- A BSN required, with a Master's degree in Nursing Education preferred.
- 3 years of clinical experience required, with one year of experience in nursing professional development activities preferred.
- Prefer candidates involved in councils, committees, and engaged in professional development for themselves or others.
- Experience creating, implementing, and debriefing Simulation activities preferred.
- Program or project management skills, including implementation of change initiatives, is preferred.
- Entry-level instructional design and presentation skills.
