Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Professional Fee Coding Specialist to join our team. This role involves reviewing and assuring that all services documented in patient charts are coded with appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD codes.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate medical record documentation to ensure accurate assignment and sequencing of diagnostic and procedure codes.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and direction to medical coding staff.
  • Work with clinics to resolve denials and improve coding accuracy.
  • Maintain knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD coding principles, regulations, and requirements.
Requirements
  • Possess a CPC or CCS-P certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with physician offices or clinics in diagnostic and procedure coding and/or medical billing.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with providers, staff, and corporate management.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
