Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Admissions Nurse to join our team at Christiana Hospital. As a member of our Clinical Express Admissions Department, you will play a critical role in the care progression of patients from admission to transfer to an inpatient unit.

About the Role

The successful candidate will possess strong medical/surgical nursing skills, with the ability to practice autonomously and anticipate patient needs. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and exhibit adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive care to patients admitted to the Clinical Express Admissions Department
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patients' conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

Requirements

- BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years from date of hire
- Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience in acute care
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred (must be willing to obtain after hire)
