Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist III to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform MRI procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
  • May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping orient other staff to the department
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • Certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), Certified MRI Technologist (ARMRIT), or Radiography (ARRT) - American Register of Radiologic Technologists
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to perform routine MRI examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a varied schedule, including weekends as needed. The pay range is $66.01 to $82.50 per hour, and the position is non-exempt.
