Job Summary
Fulfill your passion for nursing by joining the State of Florida as a Nurse Supervisor at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Health Care Center, providing expert guidance to staff, and ensuring exceptional patient care.

About the Role
As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care, developing and implementing effective nursing plans, and promoting a culture of excellence within the Health Care Center.

Responsibilities
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans
* Provide guidance and training to nursing staff to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and standards of care
* Conduct regular rounds to monitor patient progress and provide feedback to staff
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff performance
* Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and respect among staff members

Requirements
* Registered Professional Nurse licensure in accordance with Florida Statute 464 or eligibility to practice nursing in accordance with Florida Administrative Code 210-8.27
* Two years of professional nursing experience, with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in nursing substituting for one year of required experience
* Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in nursing substituting for the required experience
