About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our top-tier staff in a full-time position. As a Senior Plastic Surgery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing plastic surgery procedures.

Job Responsibilities
  • You will participate in primary patient care, making rounds as necessary to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Provide individualized nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical conditions.
  • Monitor patients closely and immediately report any complications to the surgeon or anesthesiologist.
  • Coordinate patient care activities with medical staff and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document all information received from patients and disseminate it to relevant parties.
  • Carry out Pre/Post-Operative orders given by Surgeon and document post-anesthesia care information.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to identify and resolve nursing care problems.
  • Develop coordinated outcomes and interventions with medical staff and healthcare team members regarding patient progress and care.
  • Assist in emergencies and provide education to patients and family members on post-operative care.
  • Educate patients on time management, equipment, supplies, and personnel organization for effective patient care.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is mandatory.
  • Holds and maintains an active Registered Nurse License and educational requirements.
  • Must hold and maintain an active Multistate Registered Nurse License or obtain one upon hire.
  • Holds and maintains an active BLS and ACLS certification.
  • A minimum of 1 year of PACU experience is required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and location.
